Michelle received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies for Public Health at UC Berkeley where she found tremendous value in nutrition and the pursuit of health while participating in Triathlons for fun. She played various sports throughout her life and was most dedicated to rowing (bow seat) for the Los Gatos Rowing Club. Her high school varsity crew won championships in California, competed nationally, then she returned as an assistant coach for the following year. Decades later, her surgeon recommended she attend CrossFit for her to recover from a torn ACL and meniscus. Learning functional movements and integrating them into everyday activities seemed like the best way to avoid injuries, and to live a long healthy life. Plus, learning from and training with such awesome people proved to be very motivating and inspiring. As a coach at CrossFit Aptos, she hopes to help this wonderful community of people to thrive. Michelle lives in Aptos with her brilliant lovable husband, bright beautiful teenage daughter, and amazing athletic teenage son.
